The Slideshow source files have been moved to CodePlex (Microsoft's open source project hosting web site). I have created a project for the Slideshow and it is publicly available at http://www.codeplex.com/silverlightslideshow.
You are allowed to download the source code, modify it, redistribute it, etc. etc. There is no need to contact me if you want to modify and/or redistribute (parts of) the code. More license details over here.
The latest source files are available in the Source Code Tab at CodePlex. Contact me should you have any questions.
