Commercial License
A commercial license is available to legal entities, including companies and organizations (both for profit and non-profit). The license allows for use by a single developer within that organization and can be transferred from one developer to another.

Personal License
If you want to purchase a license, and you are the only person planning to use that license, then the Personal License is for you. Personal licenses are non-transferable.

As a Microsoft Regional Director or an ASP.NET, Silverlight or Expression Blend MVP, you are eligible for a free Personal License of Silverlight Spy. To apply, please send a message providing your RD details or MVP Profile.
Volume Discounts
When placing an order for 5 or more commercial licenses, you qualify for the following discount rates. Your discount will be calculated automatically when you place your order.
- 5% discount for 5 or more commercial licenses
- 10% discount for 10 or more commercial licenses
- 20% discount for 20 or more commercial licenses
Note: volume discounts do not apply to the personal license, for it is restricted to one user and is sold as a single license only.
License Key
When you purchase Silverlight Spy you will receive a license key. Click the Enter Key button in the reminder window that appears when you start the evaluation version of the program and enter the key (use the clipboard to copy the key to this window). Once the key is entered you will be able to use the purchased edition of Silverlight Spy without evaluation limitation and will no longer see the reminder window.
If you do not have the evaluation version installed, you need to download your copy of the software.
Upgrade Policy
Both commercial and personal licenses entitle you to free minor upgrades and updates within one major version. If you have purchased a license just a month or less before a new major version is released, you are entitled to a completely free upgrade.
Major release upgrades are 50% the cost of a new license. If you would like to upgrade your license, you'll need to send your license key(s) using the contact form.
