SilverlightContrib Alpha 2 release
Silverlight Contrib is a continuously evolving collection of open source Silverlight Controls and API enhancements built for and by the Silverlight developer community. The goal of this project is to complement Silverlight and make the lives of Silverlight developers easier.
Page Brooks, coordinator of the project, just released an Alpha 2 version of Silverlight Contrib. A while ago I decided to contribute some of my personal work to SilverlightContrib. Discussed on this site before and now available in Silverlight Contrib the following;
Declarative Tweening
A tweener library where tweening animations are completely defined using attached dependency properties (read more).
Enhanced Metafile (EMF) control
A control capable of displaying native Enhanced Meta File images in Silverlight 2.
XamlWriter
Generates XAML from any live silverlight object model. This class is also used by Silverlight Spy to generate the XAML view.
Rich Text Format (RTF) to XAML converter
A Rich Text Format to XAML converter used to convert RTF text into XAML.
