First Floor Software is excited to announce the arrival of Silverlight Spy 3 RTW. Silverlight Spy is a runtime inspector tool providing unprecedented access to all aspects of any Silverlight application. Explore the UI element tree, monitor events, extract XAML, interactively execute DLR code, view statistics and more, much more.

The following fixes and updates are included in RTW:

• Licensing implemented
• Recognizes Silverlight 3 GDR 2
• Improved error feedback when application fails to load in spy
• Extended configuration options 
• fix: XAP packages protected by cookie based authentication schemes are not properly loaded
• fix: occasional NullReferenceException when XAP package download fails
• fix: property grid selection error
• fix: configuration error when configuration file is changed outside slspy
• fix: file not found error when requesting external html pages on Windows XP
• fix: unhandled exception when navigating explorer history

Please note that Silverlight Spy is not free software. After a 21 day evaluation period you must either purchase a license or remove the software from your computer. In the Evaluation Copy of Silverlight Spy each loaded Silverlight application features an Evaluation Copy watermark.

Does RTW mean that Silverlight Spy is finished? No, absolutely not. First Floor Software will continue to improve Silverlight Spy and add new functionality. The wish list for Silverlight Spy is pretty big and you will see some exciting new features in the coming months.
