New Spy: HTTP Monitor and Install improvements
The latest Silverlight Spy update contains a new HTTP monitor providing detailed information on all HTTP and HTTPS network traffic. The HTTP monitor is available in the output panel, select HTTP Monitor in the combo box and start monitoring. Double click a monitored item and you can view the request and response details.
The installation of Silverlight Spy has been improved as well; I was able to remove the manual csexwb prerequisite setup. Silverlight Spy now uses a registration-free COM library that is updated using ClickOnce. No more hassling with a manual csExWB setup. If you have Silverlight Spy already installed, you can safely uninstall the csExWB Web Browser from your system once you have upgraded to the most recent version (v2.0.0.24).
Complete list of updates
- Basic HTTP monitor with detailed request/response header info
- Removed csExWB prerequisite, csExWb comes with registration-free COM library
- Decompile into any language supported by Reflector (not just C# and VB.NET)
- Fixed a cross-appdomain lease expire bug
- Fixes in Silverlight application discovery
- Event Monitor refactored
